George Carlin.

Posted by tehslaphappy - August 2nd, 2011

Time for another comedian of the month. This time it's one of the greatest comedians of all time, the famous/infamous George Carlin. Carlin is known for his philosophic-like thoughts on religion, words you can say on television, and humanity itself. Not only has Carlin been a fantastic comedian, but he's also been a major influence on other comedians as well. Go buy Carlin's last and final stand up special, "It's Bad For Ya".

Some Videos I Guess:

Fuck you I'm not doing anything interesting.

I got to see him in Vegas once. The show was hilarious, but what made it more memorable was my wallet got stolen during the show. Fortunately I recovered it. The woman who took it got so drunk at the show she didn't even bother to take the money out.

Wallets are forever.

I consider him a personal hero and a great, great man. I'd say he has influenced my way of thinking more than any other human being on the planet.

Indeed.

George Carlin isn't funny. He's barely a comedian, he's more of a preacher than a comedian.

Was it his joke about how we're all useless and stupid and dieing alone that lead you to decide he was a really funny guy? Was it his 10 minutes on how there's no heaven, or his observation about how nobody ever talks about pussy farts?

I D K MAN I D K

Not that funny

#rebellion

dude who are you?

You should've posted "Jammin' in New York." One of his most awesome specials ever.

I was going to, but I usually post the latest work they've done.

Hes not a comedian,

hes a prophet

This is a very true statement.

Unblock me from your page.

Own 5 albums including It's Bad for Ya. He was a genius and one of the last hopes for comedy as a serious form of art and thought. Now all we have is observational shit and stereotype jokes.

There are some hidden gems out there.

Good comedian.

Fuck you.

George Carlin is my mentor of life-philosophy.

(I have some courtroom sessions to look forward too...)

Don't we all.

He was so much more than a good laugh. He's sorely missed.

RIP RIP.

This man is a prophet of common sense. And religion has always been and will always be, bullshit. Can God make a so heavy he can't lift it? If he can't, he's not almighty. If he can, he can't lift it, so he is still not almighty. RELIGION HAS BEEN DISPROVED.

"Science is the record of dead religions" - Oscar Wilde.

Set it in stone.

:( why so angry slap

leave me alone
