nice job man - serious props for getting up there and writing your own stuff - - but i think that person was right about the transitions, seems like you sort of just linger around in self deprecation after each joke. (not that the jokes are bad, just the spaces in between are rough :/ )

Man these jokes are PRETTY TEPID! They're like fuckin Joke Book jokes. It's like I'm watchin a guy read out a Gag Mag here.
There's no truth! Or personality or natural connection or anything at all to put me on your side or open me up to laughing. I wanna ease into it and warm up to it, but you're just reading out joke in that one stiff, loud, joke-telling sitcom voice.
You need to stop acting like a comedian and just be a person.

Also, I agree with that really mad dude below EJR about opening right off the bat with jokes, it's less awkward if you can fill the spaces between jokes with idle chatter and things that make you less distant from the audience because it is kind of weird how much like a COMEDIAN you seem like, as opposed to a cool dude telling jokes.
I'm not telling you to be cool cause that would be unrealistic as EJR being good at Yugi-Oh but you know, work on saying other stuff I guess.
